Can I add a logo without breaking the code?

Yes. The generator raises the error-correction level automatically when a logo is placed, so scanners can still read the code even though the center is covered. Keep the logo small relative to the code and test it with your phone.

Which format should I download?

PNG is right for websites, slides and documents. SVG is a vector file that stays sharp at any size, which is what you want for posters, packaging and business cards.

Is the Wi-Fi password stored anywhere?

No. The code is generated entirely in your browser. The password is encoded into the QR image on your device and never sent to a server.

Will dark colors on a light background scan better?

Yes. Scanners expect dark modules on a light background with good contrast. Avoid light-on-dark and low-contrast combinations, and keep a quiet zone (margin) around the code.
